Blocks overview

Brigade Blocks Addons adds 56 blocks in 12 modules. 6 of them are “inner” blocks that only live inside another block (for example an Accordion Item inside an Accordion). Every block has its own guide.

All blocks appear in the block inserter under the Brigade Blocks category. You can switch modules and individual blocks on or off on the Brigade Blocks screen in your dashboard.

Content module

Essential blocks for page content: headings, text, images, icons, buttons, video, maps and embeds.

• Container

  A flexible layout box for other blocks: rows, columns and grids, full-width or boxed content, backgrounds, overlays and per-device layouts.

• Heading

  A section heading with an optional eyebrow label above it, an accent line and a supporting paragraph below.

• Text Editor

  Rich text — paragraphs, lists, quotes, headings and images — in the Donix body style, with optional columns and a drop cap.

• Image

  A responsive image with aspect-ratio cropping, hover effects, rounded corners, a caption and an optional link.

• Image Box

  An image card with a title, text and link — stacked, or with the text over the image on a dark scrim.

• Icon

  A single line icon — plain or inside a Donix tinted badge — with an optional link.

• Icon Box

  A feature or service card: tinted icon badge, title, description and an optional link.

• Button

  A call-to-action button in the Donix style — primary, dark, outline or text link — with an optional icon.

• Divider

  A horizontal line with style, weight and width options, and an optional centred label or icon.

• Spacer

  Empty vertical space with separate heights for desktop, tablet and mobile.

• Video

  YouTube, Vimeo or self-hosted video. External players load only when clicked, keeping pages fast and privacy-friendly.

• Google Maps

  A Google Map for any address — no API key needed — with an optional info card, directions link, grayscale style and click-to-load privacy mode.

• HTML

  Custom HTML with a live preview in the editor.

• Shortcode

  Runs a shortcode from any plugin or theme, with spacing and text styling controls.

Interactive module

Sliders you design yourself, accordions, tabs, content toggles, timelines and process steps.

  Collapsible sections (FAQs, details, specifications) built on the browser’s native disclosure element — with optional FAQ schema for search engines.

  A slider you design yourself: every slide holds any blocks and has its own background image, colour and overlay. Slide or fade, one or several slides at a time.

  A vertical timeline of milestones — one-sided or alternating left and right — with dot, number or icon markers.

Marketing module

Conversion-focused blocks for landing pages and business sites.

• Call to Action

  A conversion banner — eyebrow, headline, supporting text and buttons — on a dark, coral, tinted or image background.

• Counter

  An animated statistic that counts up when scrolled into view — with prefix, suffix, decimals and an optional icon badge.

• Flip Box

  A card that flips on hover, keyboard focus or tap to reveal a message and a button.

• Progress Bar

  A labelled progress or skill bar that fills when scrolled into view.

Posts module

Post grids, lists, masonry, carousels and sliders with AJAX load more and filters; author box and dynamic fields.

  Posts from any public post type in a grid, list, masonry, carousel or slider — with “Load more”, infinite scroll and category filter buttons.

• Author Box

  The post author’s avatar, name, biography, website and a link to all their posts — or any chosen author.

• Dynamic Content

  Shows one field of the current post — title, excerpt, dates, author, terms, comments, reading time or a custom field. Built for templates and the Query Loop.

Media module

Galleries (grid, masonry, carousel, slider) with lightbox and filters, before/after comparisons and video galleries.

  Images in a grid, masonry, carousel or slider — with a lightbox, captions, hover effects and a filter bar built from image tags.

• Before / After

  Compare two images with a draggable divider — mouse, touch and keyboard friendly.

• Video Gallery

  YouTube, Vimeo or self-hosted videos in a grid or carousel. Videos open in a lightbox or play in place — and load only when clicked.

People module

Team member cards with social links, and testimonials with ratings in a grid or carousel.

Navigation module

Breadcrumbs with structured data, and a table of contents that builds itself from your headings.

  A list of the headings in your post that jumps to each section. Builds and updates itself, and highlights the section being read.

WooCommerce module

Products (grid, list, carousel, slider), product categories, product search, add to cart, a mini cart drawer and cart / checkout / account pages. Requires WooCommerce — these blocks only appear while WooCommerce is active.

  WooCommerce products in a grid, list, carousel or slider — latest, featured, on sale, best selling, top rated, hand-picked, related, upsells or cross-sells.

• Product Categories

  WooCommerce product categories as image tiles in a grid or carousel.

• Add to Cart

  An add-to-cart button with quantity and price, for any product or the product being viewed.

• Mini Cart

  A cart icon with item count and total that opens a cart drawer or links to the cart — ideal for headers.

• Product Search

  A WooCommerce product search box with an optional category dropdown.

• Store Page

  WooCommerce’s cart, checkout or My Account placed anywhere in your own page layout.

Forms module

Login, registration and lost-password forms that work without reloading, a user profile card, and a styler for Contact Form 7 and WPForms.

  Shows a Contact Form 7 or WPForms form, styled to match your design.

• Login Form

  Log in, register and reset a password on your own page — without reloading, and with WordPress’s standard login as a fallback.

Advanced module

Advanced Search with live results, and a Taxonomy Filter that links to category, tag and other taxonomy archives.

  One or more progress rings or half-circle gauges with the value in the middle.
